the idea of "sin" probably started as a way to stop people from hurting each other. and that's fine. it helped teach people to live with good values. but later, some people — like fake godmen — started using it for their own benefit. they made rules to control others and gain power.
with time, the real purpose (if there was one) got lost. now, it's just a bunch of blind rules and rituals. if you question anything or live differently, people call you a sinner. but is that fair?
humans were wild in the beginning. they needed religion, god, heaven and hell to act better. and slowly, science and reason came in too. people changed. we became kinder. we understood what's right and wrong without needing old stories.
hurting others is wrong.
hurting yourself is wrong.
you don't need a holy book to know that.
we don't need fear of sin to be good people anymore. also, no one really knows if heaven or hell exists. but that doesn't mean you can just do anything. real life has real consequences.
you do bad things — you go to jail.
you act badly in jail — things get worse.
if you give in to things like lust, greed, anger, laziness, ego, jealousy — you'll face real problems. your health will suffer. your money will go. people will stop respecting you. even you will feel ashamed of yourself. you don't need to wait for the afterlife to feel punishment. it's already here.
so build good habits. not to impress a god, but to live a better life. maybe you won't always feel super happy — but at least you won't hate yourself. yes, some evil people escape without punishment. they die rich and free. they're the rare cases. even god didn't stop them. so stop waiting for justice from above. live with your eyes open, in the real world.
